    EA Sports today went further into detail on "bounceTEK" which was one of the primary features announced and demonstrated for NBA Live 14 back at E3. The company has even provided a few video examples of how the dribbling system will enhance the game.  (more…)...
  • NHL 94 Gameplay Footage from NHL 14

    Gamespot has posted a lengthy gameplay video from NHL 14 featuring the NHL 94 mode that was announced last week. The new mode takes the current day gameplay minus the rules and tacks on '94 style touches such as the blue ice, stars under players, sound effects, and control scheme. Inexplicably however the mode won't be playable online.     There was never any doubt that NHL 94 would play a role in NHL 14 and today EA Sports revealed details on its place in the game. NHL 94 Anniversary Mode will be included in NHL 14 and combines the current day gameplay engine with the controls, presentation, and lack of rules featured in '94 but unfortunately won't be playable online.  (more…)...
  • Improvements to Goalies in NHL 14

    EA Sports has released details on the work that was put in to improve goaltending for NHL 14. A great deal has been done to both the AI and animations to make goalies smarter, more situationally aware, and able to make some spectacular saves.     It's too early to make any definitive declarations on NCAA Football 14 - early impressions will be posted on Monday followed by the Hits and Misses review late in the week or early the week after. What I would say however is that I found myself enjoying NCAA 14 far more on its day one than I did the previous two iterations on theirs.   • Ultimate Team in Madden NFL 25 Adds Head-to-Head Seasons and Returns Chemistry

    EA Sports today released details on the improvements coming to Ultimate Team mode in Madden NFL 25. The mode will reintroduce "Chemistry" as a factor in building teams while a new Head-to-Head Seasons mode will offer up competition in 10 game "seasons" capped by playoffs to move up to the next level. Setting the team's "Best Lineup" will now be easier to do and incorporates all players rather than just the active ones as was previously the case. (more…)...

    Konami has released a new trailer showing off many of the gameplay related features to expect in Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 which will be out on the Xbox 360 and PS3 this fall. Showcased in the lengthy video is the new Fox Engine, improvements to the graphics, lighting, ball control, player movement, emotion, animations, AI, and more.     2K Sports debuted a teaser trailer for WWE 2K14 on last night's Raw broadcast. This will be the first release under the WWE license acquired by Take Two in February that will run through 2018. Development studio Yuke's continued work on this title which was already well into development when the transfer from now defunct THQ occurred.
