  • Full game of NFL Tour (H2H): Eagles vs Browns

Here is a game played against a buddy of mine. He took the Eagles and I went with the Browns. Cleveland is one of my favorite teams in the game, and the Eagles are one of the best as well making this a really good match-up. The game really opens up when you play against another person, and the added element of trash talk makes it that much more fun. The game we played prior to this one (but didn't record) was a classic. Through about 60 games played I had never completed a successful user...

Here are three more complete game videos of NFL Tour. The difficulty level remains one above the default. The three match-ups are Bills vs Rams, Chargers vs Colts, and Seahawks vs Packers. The next to come will be a head-to-head game which should show some of the difference between playing against another person and going up against the CPU. Look for that this afternoon. A highlight video with some of the big plays via replay footage will follow later in the day. Continue on to see the t...

Here is the first full game of NFL Tour with the Bears going up against the Vikings. Adrian Peterson has an insane run right at the end of the first half that has to be seen. I'll have that in replay mode for an upcoming highlight video I'll do for him. This game was played on the difficulty one above the default, which as I've noted previously provides a more balanced and enjoyable experience as the default is rather easy. One common question I've gotten regards the rosters and whether ...

Two videos have been added to the official website for MLB 08: The Show (PS3) discussing features while displaying some gameplay footage. They've since been added to Gametrailers and I've included them here to watch by continuing on. The first is all about the "Replay Vault" which allows for the ability to watch any play that has occurred in the game. The second video goes over "Road to the Show" mode which looks as though its shaping up to be fantastic. (more…)...
  • Seven NFL Tour producer videos

Gametrailers has posted up seven new producer videos going over aspects of NFL Tour. Some of the things discussed are the overall story and concept behind the game, the controls, single player Tour mode and create-a-player, the game's presentation and graphics, the two mini-games, and the Smash Meter. One thing I would say when looking at the gameplay in the vids is I would recommend bumping up the difficulty level one higher than the default. It forces the action a little more because th...
  • FIFA Street 3 trailer and new screens

A new FIFA Street 3 trailer has been released. This one shows a lot more than the previous one which just had a solo Ronaldinho doing ball tricks. There are also 10 new screenshots out and those have been added to the gallery. The art style of the game is pretty neat almost like they're caricatures of the real players. That meshes pretty well with the angle the game takes on the sport. It'll be interesting to see what it looks like from the actual perspective when playing the game. The...
  • Yet another set of March Madness 08 videos

For the final set of March Madness videos I wanted to show a few different things. The first one is Georgetown @ Ohio State on all default settings. The second is Kansas State @ Clemson with the difficulty moved up to All-Conference. The third is Arizona State @ Arizona with the difficulty on All-Conference and the game speed bumped up to about 65%. Personally I thought the ASU vs Arizona game turned out the best. It just felt a lot more natural. The increased game speed doesn't seem to t...
  • March Madness 08 upped speed and classic team videos

Here is a set of videos featuring classic teams. 1990 Loyola Marymount @ 1990 UNLV, 1989 Michigan @ 1983 Houston, and 1982 North Carolina @ 1968 UCLA. Also I have up one with Marquette @ Davidson with the game speed slider pushed up to about 60% from the about 35% that it falls on with default. I'll be interested to see if you guys think that improves the way the game appears to play. It didn't feel like it smoothened the game out much but the slightly faster tempo felt more natural to me...
