Further Impressions of 3 On 3 NHL Arcade
I was able to get some more time in with 3 on 3 NHL Arcade and my initial feeling on it stands. This is a fun simple game to play against live opponents that has an element of strategy that isn't frustrating like some arcade style sports titles have attempted to implement. And the online play, though short on options, is providing quite a bit of enjoyment.
Power-up wise there are some that are I'm finding to be more advantageous than others. The rocket speed for example is of huge benefit...
First Impressions of 3 on 3 NHL Arcade
3 On 3 NHL Arcade hit PSN earlier today and will arrive on XBL next week. I downloaded it and spent some time playing through so I wanted to get some initial impressions up. Going into it I was pretty hopeful considering the enjoyment that arcade hockey games have presented in the past and the very reasonable $9.99 price that comes with a downloadable game.
For an arcade game it has a nice amount of options. Three different difficulty levels, two different camera angles, three different g...
Further Impressions of MLB FOM
I posted up my initial reaction to MLB Front Office Manager last night where I was encouraged by the manager mode and that the online fantasy mode appears to have the potential to be enjoyable. After putting some more time in with the game I can discuss some other areas and whether my overall feeling has changed at all. Continue on for further thoughts on the game, some screens, and a couple videos videos of managing a game.

Live 09 OTP Vs Devs Recap
The battle in NBA Live 09Â Online Team Play between Team Pastapadre and Team NBA Live Developers took place on Friday. PP took the Trailblazers while the Devs took the Magic.

Thanks for everyone who got to participate as well as those of you who intended to but didn't make it in time.

MLB FOM 2nd Developer Diary
It may have taken over two months but the second developer diary video is now out for MLB Front Office Manager. This one focuses on scouting, evaluating, and drafting talent.
Unfortunately we still know next to nothing about the online fantasy leagues and the game is out in two days. I'm still interested in running one of the leagues, however given the circumstances I'm going to wait to make sure it will even be worthwhile to do so. If the mode is promising then I'll put up another postin...

3 on 3 NHL Arcade Videos
The first two gameplay videos for 3 on 3 NHL Arcade are now out courtesy of Gametrailers. While the release date had previously only been narrowed down to early February they list it as coming Wednesday February 4th. It is uncertain whether it will be out the same day for the 360 and PS3 since PSN generally updates on Thursdays. Hopefully some sort of confirmation on the release date comes soon.
The game definitely looks fun in the way expected. The influence from NHL 09 is noticeable and...
Videos Of New Stadiums In MLB 09 The Show
For those who got to see the leaked video a while back it was exciting to get a glimpse of the new Yankee Stadium as represented in MLB 09 The Show. Continue on to watch the videos and leave your thoughts in the comments.
The new Yankee Stadium was constructed, like many stadiums built for “MLB 09: The Show,†pretty much by one person, ar...
