The Latest Backbreaker Trailer
A brand new trailer has arrived for the upcoming Backbreaker football game. Madden Ultimate Team Arrives Tomorrow
Madden Ultimate Team, the downloadable game mode addition for Madden 10, will be available tomorrow for both the Xbox 360 and PS3. MUT will be free but because it is arriving as a patch and not downloadable content the exact time for when it is expected to go live is unknown. UFC 2010 Undisputed Trailer
THQ unveiled the trailer for UFC 2010 Undisputed earlier this evening at the VGAs. It was introduced by Kimbo Slice and he is also seen in the footage. The general consensus seems to be that the clips of UFC 2010 look nearly identical to the previous version. The exception might be the glimpse of a fighter being pushed into the cage which wasn't utilized in 2009. Madden NFL Arcade Impressions
I've always been a fan of arcade style games however with certain caveats. They have to be simple to play but still include some sort of strategy. With that they must eliminate any frustrating elements that comes from that strategy or from the simplified gameplay. Essentially the game needs to have an overriding fun feeling while still offering the opportunity to increase skill and outperform opponents. Madden Arcade Game Breakers Video
Late last week EA Sports released the details on the "Game Breaker" power-ups that will be available for use in Madden NFL Arcade. Along with the full rosters pretty much everything to be known about the game is out there. In addition to the screenshots that were pushed out there is now a video that goes through the power-ups as they are used in actual gameplay. NCAA Basketball 10 Release Thoughts
While NCAA Basketball 10 released today it has been difficult for many to find copies. Apparently some shipping issues have kept it from reaching stores and it will be arriving in most locations tomorrow. One person who was able to get a copy is Chris Jacobs over at ncaaStrategies. NBA Unrivaled Impressions
It would be one thing if NBA Unrivaled was 400 MS points/$5 but it isn't. The downloadable only game for XBLA and PSN is asking for 1200 MS points/$15. It appears that the sole reason for the is the use of the NBA license because there is nothing else about the game that could justify such a price. The XBLA and PSN downloadable only game NBA Unrivaled is now available for for the 360 and should be out for the PS3 tomorrow. Tecmo is going for the feel of a throwback arcade game in the mold of Tecmo NBA Basketball or NBA Jam with this offering.
