Trailer for MLB 10: The Show
SCEA has released the official trailer for MLB 10: The Show which mixes game footage with real MLB video footage and commentary. A trailer such as this isn't intended to communicate much about game or show how it'll be when its actually played but instead bring out the emotion of the sport from watching it and get people jacked about picking up the game. The website advertised at the end doesn't appear to exist yet though which is odd considering the game is just over three weeks out from rele...
MLB 10: The Show Real Time Presentation
SCEA has released another new blog for MLB 10: The Show this time detailing the real time presentation that has been added for this year. Rather than just talk about the concept behind it they've done something interesting by creating a video that shows via picture-in-picture what is seen while playing the game up against the live production camera that is used for this presentation style.
From the pitcher toeing the rubber until the next batter walks up to the dish, you’ll experience...
Madden 11 Halftime Blog
For the second straight year EA Sports has posted a blog at halftime of the Super Bowl. Rather than focus on a feature or addition this time it is a video blog that goes over the development team and direction and vision for Madden 11. New MLB 10: The Show Gameplay Videos
While there have been gameplay videos out for MLB 10: The Show since CES in early January those were all recorded off screen. Today the first directly produced look at gameplay has been released by two different outlets. The first clip runs just over a minute and features the Tigers @ Twins primarily focusing on Joe Mauer's at bat and the second is of a homerun review. The third has the same two teams but is over five minutes long. Continue on to check out the videos and leave your thoughts in...
First Backbreaker Dev Diary
With a firm release date of May 18th finally established it looks like the promotion for Backbreaker is finally starting to gear up. Earlier today the first in the line of video developer diaries made its way out via Gamespot. This one concentrates on the Euphoria engine as well as the third person camera system that is unique to Backbreaker.
The game has clearly advanced quite a bit since seeing it at E3 last year. On the topic of the camera though the most troublesome aspect comes from pl...
Trailer for MLB 2K10
2K Sports has released a brand new trailer for MLB 2K10. While I generally don't post up "sizzle" trailers, which are manufactured flash rather than offering much of actual substance, with not much else to go on how the game plays it is at least worth a watch until some gameplay videos hit. Continue on to check out the video and leave your thoughts in the comments!

MLB 10: The Show Demoed in 3D
The first gameplay video of MLB 10: The Show came out of CES late last week. Being demoed at the same event were Sony prototype 3D TVs with a handful of their games including The Show. Obviously this video isn't going to display itself in 3D but it does offer an opportunity to get a look at it in action and listen to the comments of those in the room.
It's clear that this is a technology that will be integrated into games in the coming years as consumers adapt 3D capable TVs. What interest ...
First MLB 10: The Show Gameplay Video
SCEA is out in front again this year having provided a full feature list, screenshots, and now gameplay videos for MLB 10: The Show. With CES taking place now the game has been on display and Gametrailers has posted up a significant chuck of of gameplay featuring the Yankees @ Twins in the brand new Target Field.
Given that the video was taken off-screen it isn't ideal but is still a good quality look at the the game. Continue on to check out the video and leave your thoughts in the comment...
