IGN has released a video interview regarding the 3v3 Online Team Play mode that is debuting in Madden 11. Online Team Play was made official last night even though we've known about it since April. The video includes talk about the mode and gameplay footage, along with that a decent opportunity to hear the new commentary with Gus Johnson in the booth. (more…)...

Gametrailers has posted up a developer diary for NBA Elite 11 in which creative director David Littman and associate producer Novell Thomas discuss a few issues that plagued NBA Live 10 and how things have changed for Elite 11. The two aspects focused on in the video are the introduction of real-time physics and the "hands-on control" right stick scheme. They expect them to alleviate the problems of losing control of players in animations and having no skill involved in whether a shot is made ...

For a game this isn't scheduled to release for another five months or so we've been able to get a number of unprecedented opportunities to see early EA Sports MMA gameplay. With E3 only a week and a half away this is probably my most anticipated game to spend time with. I came across a new video that includes Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal and features some gameplay and quick glances at things like fighter entrances and post-fight celebrations. Considering how much time there is left in developm...

While I'm still working on collecting impressions on the Backbreaker demo (pages of notes already) I wanted to get up a handful of gameplay videos. Overall I've been really impressed with the organic nature of the player interaction and tackling and have found myself enjoying the running game as well as kickoffs. On the other hand issues with the camera, the CPU's inept offensive performance and particularly their frequent throwing of INTs, and dislike of the passing game have pulled me in the...

The latest preview for Madden 11 comes from Inside Xbox. There is nothing new to be learned about the game from the interviews conductied and it is anything but an extensive preview, but what is provided is some action through replay footage interspersed throughout. One moment in particular that stood out was the toe tapping in the back of the end zone on a catch. Continue on to check out the video and leave your thoughts in the comments! (more…)...
  • UFC 2010 Undisputed Fight Camps Video

THQ has released a new video detailing the online Fight Camps feature being introduced in UFC 2010 Undisputed. Not much had been known about the online league-like system other than it would allow for teammates to train together, would track records and stats, and would tie into the new community website. Unfortunately the video doesn't go into specific details such as the max number of fighters per camp or whether created fighters, existing fighters, or both can be used in camps. It does h...
  • Backbreaker Passing Tutorial

GameTrailers has posted a tutorial video for Backbreaker concentrating on the passing game. Throwing passes requires the use of the right analog stick, focus mode with the left trigger provides higher accuracy, and cycling through receivers with the right stick will probably be the most difficult thing about the system to get used to. Continue on to watch the video and leave your thoughts in the comments! (more…)...
