With the highly anticipated demo for NBA 2K11 just days away this has been a banner year for 2K Sports in respect to promotion of the game. It can't be said this year that they are holding back on showing it off as their confidence is notable. Over at Operation Sports they have been posting a daily video created by Da Czar focusing on particular teams in the game. They provide very extensive looks at the game in action, done primarily through breaking down plays in both practice mode and 5v5 g...

A month ago EA Sports announced that NBA Jam would be coming to the 360 and PS3. The catch though is that it would be only available to download through a code that is being included in new copies of NBA Elite 11. The arcade market has been dry ever since EA and Midway ended Street and Ballers respectively, and here EA is bringing back a classic in what is better described as a "refresh" than a "reboot". The first opportunity for the media and public to play NBA Jam HD came with it out on t...

EA Sports has now released two more NBA Elite 11 gameplay videos via Operation Sports and notably these show the game played from the broadcast camera. Typically prerelease videos of a game from the non-default perspective are not produced but the reaction to the behind-the-action camera has been overwhelmingly negative. It may be that in hindsight EA has realized changing the default camera was a mistake. Continue on to check out the videos which are Hornets @ Clippers and Heat @ Magic and le...

EA Sports has released a new video which goes over the "matchups" element of the Become Legendary career mode. One of the assigned tasks will be to outperform an opposing player and a judgment depending on performance will result in a number of XP points earned or taken away. Last night EA Sports released the first footage directly captured from NBA Elite 11. It seemed to have been put together in reaction to the off-screen footage that made it out over last weekend. Even with what was meant to display the game under ideal conditions the general reaction was quite heavily negative. Now a second gameplay vid has arrived via Operation Sports. This one features the Oklahoma City Thunder @ Detroit Pistons and is the first look at CPU vs User (all prior videos have b...

Over the weekend the first chance to see NBA Elite 11 in action arrived and the results weren't pretty. That EA Sports has held back on releasing gameplay footage has been notable and allowing those recorded sessions to be the first opportunity to see the game has raised even more eyebrows. Now EA seemingly in response has released a directly captured gameplay video via Operation Sports featuring the Bucks @ Knicks that runs 5:35. Keeping in mind that this is a carefully selected segment of...
