The original Transformers is one of my favorite movies and I feel no shame in admitting that. The nostalgia factor of seeing the adaptation of a show I loved growing up captured me completely and the visuals and action scenes were stunning to witness. Expectation levels were different then, when it exceeded them, compared to the sequel which was primed for a let down. Release Date for Transformers: Dark of the Moon Moves Up Two Days
In what represents a huge showing of confidence Paramount is moving up the release of Transformers: Dark of the Moon to June 29th from its original July 1st date. Deadline reports positive reaction to screenings has prompted the studio to shift the release to Wednesday.

Ever since the Super Bowl commercial there hasn't been much in the way of new footage for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. That changed today with the release of theatrical trailer. All the main characters are back for the final entry in the trilogy though Rosie Huntington-Whiteley replaces Megan Fox as the love interest. Transformers: Dark of the Moon is being filmed in 3D for a July 1st release date.

Paramount has released a new poster for the upcoming final chapter of the Transformers trilogy.
