    Sony Pictures has made an announcement via Twitter that Andrew Garfield has been cast as Peter Parker in the Spider-Man reboot. The list of rumored candidates from the start included Garfield along with Logan Lerman, Josh Hutchinson, Anton Yelchin, and Jamie Bell.     The Hollywood Reporter has revealed a list of what is said to be the final candidates to take on the role of Peter Parker in the reboot of the Spider-Man franchise.     Yesterday, NYMag.com broke the story that (500) Days of Summer director Marc Webb was signed to direct the Spider-Man reboot.
