    EA Sports today announced that SmartGlass will be utilized with the Xbox One version of Madden NFL 25. SmartGlass is available on smartphones and tablets (iOS, Android, Windows) as well as PCs running Windows 8.     Today marked a huge day for Microsoft with the release of Windows 8 and, along with it, Xbox SmartGlass. Currently the SmartGlass app is only available for W8 computers, tablets, and phones and select Android devices through Google Play. Meanwhile those with iOS devices are left waiting but it should be arriving there very soon as well.  (more…)...

    Microsoft back at their E3 press conference announced SmartGlass - an app which turns phones and tablets into second screens that communicate with the Xbox 360. Madden NFL 13 was part of the demonstration as plays were selected and even drawn up right on the touch screen and then sent to the game.     One of the more intriguing developments out of E3 came with the announcement of Xbox SmartGlass at the Microsoft press conference. The app will turn tablets and smartphones into second screens which can communicate and interact with the 360 and eventually the next Xbox. Madden was featured prominently in the demonstration as plays were selected and even drawn up right on the device.  (more…)...

    One big new feature announced by Microsoft today is Xbox SmartGlass which is an app that turns a smartphone or tablet into a second screen to communicate with the Xbox 360. Essentially it's what the Wii U is doing with a dedicated controller however Microsoft is taking advantage of devices that far more people have available to them already. This opens up a number of possibilities for sports titles to take advantage of and Madden NFL 13 was on display at the press conference with a demons...
