    On the first night of the NFL Draft a large number of rookies were dropped into Madden NFL 12 which provided insight into what their ratings will be for Madden NFL 13. They are featured in Ultimate Team mode and any rookies that are obtained will later carry over to start with in Madden 13. Since then additional players have been added. (more…)...

    EA Sports is introducing 30 of this year's crop of rookies to Ultimate Team mode in Madden NFL 12 and began doing so during the first round of the NFL Draft. There are also 6 players that get "Future Stars" cards which represent a rating that could be from the peak of their career. Even more important though is that obtaining a rookie card means starting with that same player in Madden NFL 13's Ultimate Team mode.     Dictator of all Madden ratings Donny Moore recently posted his first NFL mock draft of the year. In doing so he also sprinkled in Madden NFL 13 rookie rating details - some being very specific and others more as general expectations.     Albert Pujols and Justin Verlander lead the way in MLB 2K12 as both achieve the coveted 99 overall rating. Trailing close behind are Jose Bautista, Ryan Braun, Matt Kemp, and Roy Halladay who all come in rated 97.     Though there there won't be a pre-release demo some info on MLB 12: The Show is coming out from its placement in Best Buy stores. That includes the gathering of full team rankings in the four categories of Overall, Hitting, Pitching, and Defense as well as a video posted by Operation Sports flipping through the top nine rated players on each team.     A few weeks ago the first fighter ratings for UFC Undisputed 3 made their way out with the focus primarily on the bantamweight and featherweight divisions.     Last week ratings handler Donny Moore raised the idea of giving out the elusive 100 overall rating in Madden NFL 12 and the three primary MVP candidates were cited as being on the cusp of such an honor. Following the divisional round of the playoffs naturally perceptions of Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, and Tom Brady will have somewhat shifted.
