Week Nine Ratings Change Suggestions
Despite EA taking three weeks off from Madden 10 roster updates I wanted to keep this going since it makes it easier to track performances as the weeks go on. Now halfway through the season there are only two undefeated teams though the Colts appear vulnerable due to defensive injuries. On the other end of the spectrum is the Giants who have now lost four straight games and should see that reflected in the ratings when the time comes.
Cedric Benson has now rushed for over 100 yards agains...
Week Eight Ratings Change Suggestions
Statistically there were only a handful of players who had standout games in week eight however some trends were evident. The Giants should see a drop (at least to the defense) after getting smoked in three straight games. Kurt Warner turned the ball over six times and has been inconsistent this season. Steve Slaton got benched in favor of Ryan Moats who had a big game so some changes may be in store there. Jairus Byrd has seven picks and 16 passes defensed already this season leading the le...
Week Seven Ratings Change Suggestions
Having no roster update for Madden 10 last week most of those same suggestions apply. Some teams have shown they deserve more in how they are represented in the game such as the undefeated Broncos, Saints, and Colts. Other teams like the Rams, Bucs, Redskins, Raiders, and Titans probably will never be rated as low as they should be.
For individual players it will be taking into account two weeks where many have displayed they are deserving of a boost. In addition to the week six thoughts ...
Week Six Ratings Change Suggestions
Now that six weeks are in the books the undefeated teams have established themselves as legitimate contenders and may be deserving of some more attention in the ratings. The Saints, Colts, Broncos, and Saints have all proven they are for real. On the other end of the spectrum there are teams like the Titans, Redskins, Bucs, and Rams who should take a hit in their ratings based on their performance this season.
Looking at specific players maybe it was premature to slide Tom Brady down to a...
Week Five Ratings Change Suggestions
Normally one game wouldn't result in a ratings upgrade but what Miles Austin did will almost certainly get him one. He basically took over the role as #1 receiver with Roy Williams out and turned in a Cowboys record breaking 250 yards with 2 TDs. Austin right now sits at a 70 and could end up matching teammate Patrick Crayton at 77 now that he has taken his starting spot with Crayton possibly dropping down. Cedric Benson became the first RB to go over 100 yards against the Ravens defense in ...
Week Four Ratings Change Suggestions
We're now through a full quarter of the NFL season and at this point players have had ample opportunity to display whether they are playing at a level worthy of a ratings increase or that they aren't living up to their current ratings and deserve to drop. With the next roster update for Madden 10 coming later this week here again is an opportunity to let your thoughts be known on what players should see adjustments.
Certainly Steve Smith of the Giants is at the top of the list of players ...
Week Three Ratings Change Suggestions
Yesterday the man in charge of the Madden 10 player ratings Donny Moore tweeted that this year the philosophy is results on the field will be what determines ratings changes with no excuses. It doesn't matter who the player is, if they aren't producing or if they are outdoing expectations they'll see their ratings move. With this in mind here are some potential changes to look for this week.
Terrell Owens saw his play drop off last year and he has not produced for the Bills with only five...
Week Two Ratings Change Suggestions
The roster update for Madden 10 may have been skipped last week but assurances have been made that there will be one out this week. Along with the first patch which is expected within the next few days and the AFL downloadable content coming on Thursday it will be an eventful week for Madden.
After the first few games one standout has been Jets CB Darrelle Revis who has shut down two of the best receivers in the league, Andre Johnson and Randy Moss, in consecutive weeks. His 91 overall sh...
