MLB 2K10 Online Play Will Require Patch
After investigating the issue previously reported on, 2K Sports now states that the fix to online play will be coming via patch. That means that ranked games, at least on a frequent basis, could be largely inaccessible for at a minimum of a few weeks. More likely it will be well over a month under the assumption that they roll it into the first gameplay patch. NBA 2K10 Patch #2 Now Available (360)
The second patch for NBA 2K10 that was released for the PS3 earlier this month went live for the 360 this morning. The patch attempts to address various issues with the game that are most concentrated in My Player mode and online play but other areas have been worked on as well. Second Patch for Madden 10 Now Available (360)
Last week the long awaited patch #2 for Madden 10 arrived for the PS3 and earlier this morning it went live for the 360. As long as the console is connected online when starting up the game a prompt will automatically appear to download the update. EA Sports has sent out the complete details on what was included in the second patch for NBA Live 10. While it arrived earlier this week for the 360 it won't be out for the PS3 until next week. Below is the full list of adjustments provided by the second patch. Addressed goaltending issue to ensure that when a goaltending foul is received while blocking a dunk that the correct points are allocated. NBA Live 10 Patch #2 Available for 360
The second patch for NBA Live 10 has gone live for the Xbox 360. EA Sports still has yet to provide a list of details and only stated generalities regarding fixes to problems the first patch caused and adjustments to correct exploits being used in online games. The PS3 should be receiving the patch within the next week.
