Madden NFL 12 Patch Releases Tomorrow
The first patch for Madden NFL 12 is set to come out tomorrow for both the Xbox 360 and PS3. The update will address issues such as the rate of rain-games for some teams in Franchise mode, organization of custom playbooks, a QB sneak exploit, and commentary amongst a number of other improvements. NBA 2K12 Patch Introduces New Headaches
The patch that hit for the 360 yesterday was supposed to fix some of the connection issues plaguing NBA 2K12 since its release. The entirety of online play has been a disaster of course - but clearing up some of the disconnects would have represented a decent step towards necessary larger scale improvement. 2K Sports has pushed through a patch for NBA 2K12 already - the sudden announcement and arrival a surprise considering the game released only nine days ago and no indications had been made that one was in the pipeline. Madden NFL 12 released in a fairly good state - at least compared to sister product NCAA Football 12. While it certainly had areas in which improvement could be provided through a patch there were no broken features or completely pressing issues that demanded attention. NCAA Football 12 No-Huddle Patch Out Now
The follow-up patch for NCAA Football 12 went live last night for the PS3 and today for the Xbox 360 to address an issue introduced in early September. No-huddle has been fixed after the last patch inadvertently resulted in severe limitations of play selection for both the offense and defense. The upcoming patch for NCAA Football 12, which last week was confirmed to have reached first party certification with Microsoft and Sony, has been approved and is scheduled to be pushed out on Friday October 7th for both systems. After arriving with a myriad of issues EA Sports released a patch two weeks ago that was meant to address many of them. Unfortunately that patch introduced a new issue as it created a playbook bug while running no-huddle that affected both offense and defense.
