    The first trailer for the computer animated adaptation Legend of the Guardians has been released. Based on the first three books in the best selling series by Kathryn Lasky (The Capture, The Journey, and The Rescue) Legend of the Guardians is being made by the same people behind 300 and Happy Feet. Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen) directs while Hugo Weaving, Sam Neill, Geoffrey Rush, and Helen Miren are amongst those who have provided the voice acting for the film.     Disney has released the second trailer for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. The first trailer was released back in early November to generally positive reaction and apparently the movie has been testing very high. The video game adaptation follows a prince who along with an enemy princess team up to stop an angry ruler that plans to unleash a standstorm that could destroy the world.     It was nearly five months ago that the teaser trailer for the reboot of A Nightmare on Elm Street made its way out. With the release of the film nearing the full theatrical trailer arrived today. Starring Jackie Earle Haley as the iconic Freddy Krueger the story will be similar in nature to the original from 1984 but will delve deeper into the psychology of the nightmares and Freddy Krueger's background.  A Nightmare on Elm Street is slated to release on April 30th.     Though many have grumbled about The Karate Kid being remade it has actually gotten great scores at test screenings and the first trailer garnered at least a mildly positive reaction overall.     Paramount is continuing its strong promotion of The Last Airbender with a new TV spot airing during the Olympics. The first teaser trailer, followed by the Super Bowl spot, and the theatrical trailer have gotten very good response. The adaptation of the extremely popular cartoon is directed by M.     Lionsgate continues rolling out restricted material for Kick-Ass. As I've written about in past articles they are faced with the necessity of displaying the nature of the film which is explicit with language and violence.     The official trailer to Defendor premiered today. The film is written and directed by Peter Stebbings, and stars Woody Harrelson and Kat Dennings. The film also features Elias Koteas and Sandra Oh. Defendor will be released in select theaters beginning on February 26th, before making it's way to DVD on April 30th.
