    Paramount has released the first trailer for the upcoming Dinner for Schmucks. The movie stars Steve Carell and Paul Rudd and is directed by Jay Roach (Austin Powers and Meet the Parents films).     Another new theatrical trailer for A Nightmare on Elm Street arrived today. Starring Jackie Earle Haley as the iconic Freddy Krueger the story will be similar in nature to the original from 1984 but will delve deeper into the psychology of the nightmares and Freddy Krueger’s background.     Coming out of WonderCon is the first look at Resident Evil: Afterlife through its initial teaser trailer. This represents the fourth entry in the franchise after the original Resident Evil (2002), RE: Apocalypse (2004), and RE: Extinction (2007).  Those three have all been profitable due to reasonable budgets. The adaptation of the TV show which began in 1983 stars Bradley Cooper (Lt Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck), Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (Sgt Bosco ‘B.A.’ Baracus), Sharlto Copely (Capt ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock) and Liam Neeson (Col John ‘Hannibal’ Smith).     Lionsgate has released the first trailer for The Expendables. Directed by and starring Sylvester Stallone, the film also features Jason Statham, Jet Li, Steve Austin, Mickey Rourke, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and even more recognizable names.  The story centers on a team of mercenaries that head to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator. The movie stars Tom Cruise as a spy and Cameron Diaz as the woman that gets pulled into a deadly adventure with him as they attempt to avoid capture by a federal agent.     Fox has released the first trailer for the adaptation of the comic strip Marmaduke. Owen Wilson is in as the voice of Marmaduke. The movie will be another in the line of mixed CGI and live action which has done well at the box office the last few years.
