    A trailer has arrived for the upcoming release of Death Race 2. Wait...there is going to be a sequel to Death Race? Turns out it is actually a prequel despite the what the title suggests.     Fox Searchlight has released a new and extended trailer for 127 Hours. The movie tells the remarkable true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston who was forced to amputate his own arm after being trapped by a boulder for five days.     CBS Films has released the first full trailer for Faster which brings Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson back into the action genre. This is a restricted "red band" trailer for the R rated film which also stars Billy Bob Thornton, Carla Gugino, Maggie Grace, and Moon Bloodgood. The story centers on a man fresh out of prison looking to avenge his brothers death while being tracked by a cop and a hitman. Faster is slated to release on November 24th. ...
  • Avatar Extended CE Release Announced

    Fox has released the details on the Avatar Extended Collector's Edition release which will be coming to Blu-ray and DVD on November 16th. Special features include an extended length cut of the film which has 16 extra minutes of footage, documentaries, behind the scenes featurettes, and over 45 minutes of deleted scenes. The first release of the film drew rave reviews for its fantastic picture and sound quality however it lacked any special features. (more…)...

    Paramount has released a trailer for the upcoming Coen brothers movie True Grit. The film stars Matt Damon, Josh Brolin, and Jeff Bridges with the story centering on a tough U.S. Marshal that helps a stubborn young woman track down her father's murderer. This is an adaptation of the 1968 novel and a remake of the 1969 film starring John Wayne. True Grit is slated to release on Christmas. ...

    The full theatrical trailer for the sic-fi thriller Skyline has arrived. This was a movie I hadn't even heard of until sitting in on the panel at Comic-Con where we were shown a full trailer and some additional footage. I came away especially intrigued because it was done on a small budget and independently financed, to the extent that it was even filmed out of the apartment owned by the directors, but somehow they pulled off visuals in line with event-style blockbusters.     Another trailer for Due Date has arrived! This one goes a bit more into the story than the first. The film stars Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis and is directed by Todd Phillips (The Hangover). In Due Date a soon-to-be father (Downey Jr.) has to hitch a ride with an aspiring actor (Galifianakis) in order to make it back in time for the birth of his child.
