The film is directed by and co-stars Jodie Foster alongside Mel Gibson and was originally planned to release this winter in order to qualify for awards season.     The first trailer for The Lincoln Lawyer recently arrived. Based on the novel by Michael Connely the story centers on a lawyer that conducts business from the back of his Lincoln Town Car. Played by Matthew McConaughey the character of Mickey Haller has primarily dealt with petty criminals but then lands a case defending a high-profile playboy accused of rape and murder. Despite being considered one of the weakest of Pixar's crop of films the original Cars went on to make $244 million domestically and $460 million total worldwide.     The first trailer for Battle: Los Angeles has arrived. The film stars Aaron Eckhart and Michelle Rodriguez and centers on a marine platoon attempting to fend off an alien invasion in LA.
