The details of the first patch for Madden 10 are now out thanks to a FAQ video posted by Ian Cummings on the Inside EA Blog. The patch is currently in certification and could be out as early as next week. The second patch which will be more concentrated on gameplay feedback is currently in the works. This first patch is even more significant in that it has addressed some areas that normally wouldn't have been in a release day patch as well as adding new content with the inclusion of the b...

Early this year I did an article relating to the huge leaps in online participation being seen recently in series such as NBA Live, FIFA, and NHL. New modes like Online Team Play along with much improved online stability have paid off and resulted in unprecedented usage. That in turn has led to a much bigger focus towards online play now seen with other titles receiving their own expanded and unique online modes. Peter Moore has announced that Madden 10 has shattered previous online relat...

The second patch for NCAA Football 10 went live for the 360 earlier this morning. Starting up the game should lead to an aut0-prompt for the download. There is no specified time when it will be out for the PS3 since it is dependent on clearing certification though it is expected soon as well. Check out the previous posting for all the details on what this patch addresses. It seems unlikely that the patch will go a long way in changing the way NCAA 10 is perceived especially since it didn'...

EA Sports has released the details of the second patch for NCAA Football 10. This appears to be a very substantial patch which is somewhat expected since the first patch addressed little other than fixing the sliders, adding the ability to turn off DLC cheats in Online Dynasty, and making the somewhat more accurate rosters playable online. The patch is expected to be out soon but no official date has been specified as of yet. As has been pointed out though in the comments there is no ment...

Until today not much was known about Madden 10 for the iPhone other than it was expected to release in September. EA Sports has now sent out details on the game as well as the first screenshots. Madden 10 should arrive in the App Store before the start of the NFL season. Noticeably absent from the info though is a price so it'll be interesting to see what that turns out to be. You can check out a few screenshots in the gallery. Two of the screens feature Brett Favre and Michael Vick. From...

The NCAA Football series has seen its ups and downs over the last few years. Still one of the most fully featured sports games ever, there is definitely reason for gamers to be frustrated. NCAA Football 10 lacked emotion, presentation, and ultimately offered stale gameplay. A series of gaffes including the issue that found the rosters in disarray plagued the game prior to release. The first patch for the game did nothing to actually improve the overall experience being offered other than ...
