MLB 2K10 vs 2K9 Comparison Trailer
2K Sports has released a trailer that attempts to show off the differences between MLB 2K10 and MLB 2K9. Included are graphical improvements, fixed stadium advertising, some of the common glitches in 2K9, new collision detection, the simplified pitching, and the new batting camera angle. While it does a good job of displaying these things in just a single minute the issues in 2K9 were not realized in the pre-release videos, communicated in the previews, or even spotted much in the demo. So it ...
Fourth ‘Blade’ Film In The Works?
2004's Blade:Trinity was the last time we saw Wesley Snipes on the big screen as the vampire slayer 'Blade'. And let's just say that was easily the worst of all three 'Blade' films. Arrow in the Head had the chance to talk with Snipes about a fourth 'Blade' film and if he'd be interested in reprising his role as the 'Day Walker'.
While out pimping the film at a recent junket, AITH scored this exclusive scoop from Snipes about the possibilities of a fourth BLADE movie: Snipes said that ther...

Sequel To S.W.A.T. In Development
Released in 2003 S.W.A.T. was a relatively entertaining but forgettable film that had a solid cast including Samuel L. Jackson, Colin Farrell, and Jeremy Renner. It wasn't the huge smash hit that some had expected but on a budget of $80 million it ended up making $116 million domestically and the worldwide total gross finished with over $200 million. So it may be more of a surprise that a sequel hasn't happened already than the news today that one is in the works.

The Line Drive 2/21
A second developer diary video for Backbreaker has been released. This one focuses on, yet again, Euphoria. There are still three months until release but I'm looking forward to having different subjects touched on such as how the football basics (rules, AI, play calling, ect) are instituted in the game.

Shutter Island Gives Scorsese and DiCaprio Their Biggest Openings Ever
The decision by Paramount to push Shutter Island back from October 2009 was met with some criticism at the time but has paid off big for the studio. Shutter opened to a massive $40.2 million and dominated the weekend box office. This represented the largest opening weekend gross in the career of both director Martin Scorsese (The Departed $26.9 million) and star Leonardo DiCaprio (Catch Me if You Can $30.1 million).
