Brandon Marshall has been traded from the Denver Broncos to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for this year's second round pick (43rd) and next year's second round pick. Marshall provides the Dolphins with an offensive threat that hasn't been delivered by top choice Ted Ginn, who himself is apparently being shopped. Considering how the AFC East has been getting better as the Jets stockpile talent the Dolphins needed an additional element on offense to help score points and keep them in games. ...

The voting for what demo matchup will be offered for Madden 11 opened on March 30th with the winner to be announced on April 22nd, the day the NFL Draft begins. It now appears that a call can be made on the race as the AFC Championship rematch of the Jets @ Colts has been way out in front and by now has established enough of a lead that a comeback by one of the other options seems to be very unlikely. Though the initial news of Joss Whedon being on the shortlist to direct The Avengers may have first broken on April Fools' Day it appears that report was right on the mark. Indications today are that Marvel has entered final negotiations with Whedon to take on the critical franchise which represents the culmination of several other Marvel films that have been released or are slated to release through 2011. The Avengers would then become a franchise of its own with plans for sequels should the ...

Despite Backbreaker having a history of release date shifting it finally appeared to have settled into May 25th. With that approaching there are now signs that it may not be hitting that date. Amazon, Gamefly, and Walmart have shifted the release to June 1st. Gamestop, usually the first indicator of a release date change, still has it slated for 5/25. Generally though retailers do not make changes without having reason to do so, and as such confirmation could be coming in the near future one w...

The assumption has always been that somehow Conan O'Brien would end up at Fox. Sure there were multiple complications involved with that but the match seemed made in heaven. Other options out there such as Starz, Showtime, or Comedy Central never felt all that realistic in comparison. However in a move that has surprised most everyone including industry insiders, O'Brien has agreed to a deal that will give him a show on TBS. Conan's new show will debut in November where it will air at 11pm ...
