    FlashForward and V debuted with the expectations of being the successors to Lost. One has already been canceled and the other was lucky to get a second season.     During a conference call earlier this week EA Sports laid out some of the games that they are expecting to have on display at E3 next month. It was not meant to be representative of a final list as the possibility remains for changes and the extent to which the games are shown may vary.     Samuel L. Jackson signed on to a nine picture deal as Nick Fury in the Marvel movies. So far he has appeared in the two Iron Man films, will show up in Captain America, and will be a big part of The Avengers. In an interview earlier this week he broke some news though by revealing plans for a S.H.I.E.L.D. movie which is something that Marvel has not made any mention of previously.     A new video featuring Backbreaker that comes from a foreign media source hit Youtube earlier today. The video shows extended periods of gameplay including splitscreen multiplayer and situations such as field goal kicking and punt returning.     EA Sports is offering the opportunity to have four user submitted catchphrases recorded for NBA Jam. Head to the game's Facebook page where the contest can be entered. Catchphrases can be sent in from now through Wednesday May 19th and are limited at one entry per person.     The network "upfronts" are just a few days away...that is where each announces their slate of shows for next season. Here are a few of the latest rumors on shows that may or may not be coming back. Chuck: NBC may be picking up a fourth season for a standard 13 episodes with an option for a back nine. Chuck's ratings have not been great but they have been steady and the show carries a passionate fan base. Given the situation at NBC that made the show good enough to consider for renewal. Chuc...
  • Backbreaker Demo Could Be Coming Soon

    Last week through a PR representative it was stated that the demo for Backbreaker would not be out until a few days before release (360) and a week after release (PS3). It appears that they may in fact be working towards getting them out earlier. Considering demos are now released on Tuesdays for both the 360 and PS3 that leaves May 18th and May 25th as the landing spots should it be out before the game hits stores. (more…)...

    EA Sports has released a new video for NCAA Football 11 focusing on the "120 Ways to Win" mantra. Involved in that is the implementation of authentic offenses which was detailed in an earlier video. Within this trailer there is also a look at some more of the authentic team entrances that certain schools will have this year and more elements of presentation.
