The first official trailer for NBA 2K11 has made its way out. Apparently the trailer includes a mix of 2K11 footage with 2K10 (why they would include old footage is beyond me) so it would probably be premature to over-examine this. However it is the first opportunity to see the game somewhat in action and the visuals and player control have been the aspects concentrated on in early reports. Continue on to watch the trailer and leave your thoughts in the comments! (more…)...

Good news on the 3D front (which has been rare as of late) as it has been discovered that Michael Bay has decided to shoot Transformers 3 with 3D cameras rather than go the post-production route. Three films recently have been converted in post with all of them (Alice in Wonderland, Clash of the Titans, The Last Airbender) being criticized for doing so. Audiences have started to display backlash towards 3D largely caused by disappointment from their experiences in those films. Even Toy Story 3...

Last month it was reported that UFC 2010 Undisputed was selling below expectations. Even considering that no one could have imagined just how severely sales had dropped off from the series debut of UFC 2009. Now the official sales numbers from NPD have come through to make it apparent that not only did it sell below expectations but relatively speaking it bombed. In May UFC 2010 sold 222,100 copies on the 360 and 192,300 on the PS3 for a total of 414,400 coming in 4th and 5th place respecti...

Sony Pictures has made an announcement via Twitter that Andrew Garfield has been cast as Peter Parker in the Spider-Man reboot. The list of rumored candidates from the start included Garfield along with Logan Lerman, Josh Hutchinson, Anton Yelchin, and Jamie Bell. Those and a few others screen tested for the role which has now officially been given to Garfield. Andrew Garfield will be 27 in August which could bring into question how good of a fit he will be as a high school age character no...

Twilight: Eclipse has captured the record for a Wednesday opening having collected $68.5 million. $30 million of that came from midnight showings representing yet another record. Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen had previously held the Wednesday record with its $62 million opening last year. Eclipse did not, however, break the record for largest single day gross. That title will remain with the last film in the Twilight franchise as New Moon opened on a Friday to $72 million on the way...
