THQ May Move Away From Releasing an Annual UFC Game
Recently THQ blamed Red Dead Redemption for the relatively poor sales of UFC Undisputed 2010 when compared to the breakout hit of UFC 2009. Thankfully it now appears that they recognize there was a lot more to why the game faltered than just competition for dollars in the marketplace. NBA Elite 11 Become Legendary Mode Introduced
EA Sports has released a new trailer focusing on the "Become Legendary" mode in NBA Elite 11. Become Legendary is the name being given to what would be most recognized as Be a Pro in NHL or FIFA. The Other Guys Knocks Inception Out of Top Spot at Box Office
As expected The Other Guys came in #1 at the box office this weekend though slightly exceeding industry expectations. Inception, which had won its first three weekends, slipped to #2 but again held extremely well. The other new opener Step Up 3D had a decent opening but didn't reach the heights that the first two in the series had. Madden NFL 11 Full Impressions
For Madden 11 EA Sports decided to take the approach of making the game ultra-accessible and in doing so may have alienated some of the dedicated gamers who buy the game on a year-to-year basis.
