The first patch for UFC Undisputed 2010 was significant but didn't seem to succeed at squashing the wave of disappointment from consumers towards the game which launched with numerous severe issues. Now THQ has announced a second patch is being worked on and targeted for release in September. Some of the things expected for the patch include addressing online mid-match disconnects, fighter attributes being displayed at the online matchup screen, and combat balance in various areas including tr...

Eight days have passed since the release of Madden 11 and there has still been no official statements regarding the online play related troubles gamers have encountered. As covered in my online impressions the big ones include first half quits in ranked games not penalizing quitters with a loss or those quit on with a win/ability to play CPU out, quits at any point in Madden Ultimate Team ending as though they never happened with no coins being awarded, the ability to play friends or those cha...

The film, based on the first in a trio of Swedish novels, is being directed by David Fincher. Judge Dredd is getting a reboot and Karl Urban has signed on. The movie is expected to be a very gritty...

Yesterday a few updates that will be rolling out for Madden 11's Madden Ultimate Team were laid out. It sounds as though they will be arriving in the patch that has been slated to be delivered around the start of the NFL's regular season. Amongst the updates is the ability to view the lineup of teams from the leaderboard, which is pretty neat if you're interested in seeing how other teams are shaped but without the ability to play friends in the mode not sure how many will care about that. ...

By Corey Andress Going into the 2010-11 NFL season EA is giving its popular Madden franchise another shot on the iPhone platform. So far EA’s simulation football titles haven’t fared very well in porting over to mobile form. Although Madden NFL 10 was okay for a first attempt it failed to spark any excitement at all for sim fans such as myself. NCAA followed, and was by far one of the worst sports titles I’ve ever played for the iPhone. Gameloft’s attempts havenââ...
