    The idea of producing a sequel to the film True Lies has been discussed ever since it was released back in 1994. Directed by James Cameron and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger it went on to make nearly $400 million worldwide.     THQ has announced the upcoming release schedule for the company's 2012 fiscal year. Of note is that the next UFC game will not be out until January or February of 2012. Following a botched launch of UFC Undisputed 2010, huge sales slide from the previous year, and consumer discontent towards the product, THQ came out and stated that they were considering moving off the yearly schedule for the series.     The only wide opener in theaters this weekend was the fourth entry in the Resident Evil series and it turned in the best opening for the franchise yet. Resident Evil: Afterlife pulled in $27.7 million and was buoyed by higher priced 3D showings and IMAX screens.     The latest patch for Madden 11 introduced the Madden Moments Live feature which will deliver new moments throughout the NFL season. Between two and four new Madden Moments will be added every week based on the outcomes of games played. The "moments" will be available for purchase individually (2000 coins/67 cents), the weekly set (5000 coins/$1.67), or as full season pass (60000 coins/$20).     In a change that just recently appeared, and follows the patch that arrived during the week, Madden 11 ranked games have now moved to six minute quarters from the seven minutes they had been set to since last year. Games were deemed to be taking too long to complete and it appears a compromise was made when considering the seven minutes vs a proposed five minutes. Accelerated clock remains on. (more…)...

    This is an important week for a few networks as they start bringing back returning shows, though the most significant week will follow this one.
