After two weeks worth of Madden Moments Live being provided for free they have returned to normal cost. The set of moments for week six of the NFL season include leading the Texans to victory over the Chiefs, driving the Lions down the field with Drew Stanton for a TD and 2pt conversion late in the game against the Giants, and beating the Packers with the Dolphins on the first possession of overtime. Madden Moments Live can be purchased from the Madden 11 menu on an individual basis (2000 ...

Retailers are now listing NBA Jam for the Xbox 360 and PS3 and in the process have revealed the release date and price for the game. It was just a week ago that we learned NBA Jam HD would be a full retail release and not a downloadable offering. Many expected the game to end up being sold for the standard $60 given that the Wii version went for $50 and did not include online play or the HD graphics. NBA Jam will go for $50 for the 360 and PS3 matching the Wii version. Even at $50 though it...

Continuing with the series of Xbox 360 hard drive installation evaluations I've gone through and compared several areas of EA Sports MMA based on loading times from the disk vs the hard drive. EA Sports MMA now joins the NCAA Football series as the biggest culprits of poor loading times in the sports genre. Some of the wait times are bad enough that they nearly could have caused the game to fail certification. The worst areas come with loading into saved careers which takes a frustrating 48...

Today marked the release of EA Sports MMA, a game which has been in development for over two years and was officially announced at E3 2009. The first handful of reviews that have rolled in have ranged from a low of six to a high of nine with the great majority being quite positive. The career mode and online features are being praised while the controls are much simpler than what has been presented in the UFC product (for better or worse). I'll be working up impressions over the next few da...

Week six of the NFL season is in the books and while a few teams in the AFC have started to separate from the pack the NFC is still tightly bunched up. Much of the news coming out of the weekend though has to do with the head injuries inflicted and now penalties that will be coming for dangerous hits. Names that stood out in week six include Deion Branch who just fits so well in the Pats system, Russell Okung making Julius Peppers completely irrelevant, Roy Williams who now has a TD in thre...
