    In a year that had several quality soccer offerings the one that stood out the most was 2010 FIFA World Cup. The game was exceedingly fun and when tied in with the emotions of the real World Cup taking place it really nailed the full experience. Even the vuvuzelas made an appearance! (more…)...
  • Knocked Up Spin-Off in the Works

    Variety is reporting today that the upcoming untitled film Judd Apatow is working on will be a spin-off of the 2007's hit comedy Knocked Up. The focus will shift to the characters of Paul and Debbie as portrayed by Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann. Apatow is writing the script, producing the project, and directing for the first time since 2009's Funny People.  A release date of June 1st 2012 has already been locked in.     Universal has released a full theatrical trailer for the sci-fi comedy Paul. The movie stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost with the alien known as Paul voiced by Seth Rogen. Directed by Greg Mottola (Adventureland, Superbad) Paul is slated to release on March 18th. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost reunite for the comedy adventure Paul as two sci-fi geeks whose pilgrimage takes them to America’s UFO heartland.     Surprising news today as Andrew Luck has decided to pass over the NFL and return to Stanford for his junior season. Luck would have been the #1 pick so the decision is a head-scratcher especially with coach Jim Harbaugh likely on his way out. This development will shake up the top of the draft and the Panthers have to be very disappointed that the potential franchise QB is no longer there for them.     2K Sports is bringing back the Perfect Game Contest for MLB 2K11. Last year the $1 million dollar prize was won on the first day. The biggest change though comes with a shift of the start date. While the game releases on March 8th the contest won't begin until April 1st to coincide with opening day. Also the age requirement is being dropped from 18 to 13.
