    EA Sports has announced that this year's Madden Bowl will be broadcast live on ESPN3. The event is set to take place on February 3rd at 9ET/6PT.     Will Smith's production company Overbrook Entertainment has announced plans to remake the classic family story Annie with his daughter Willow Smith in the lead role. This follows a similar path taken with the Karate Kid remake that was a vehicle for his son Jaden. That movie was a smashing success and likely influenced getting this new project off the ground with plans for even more remakes in the future.     What follows is the first attempt at a mock draft for this year! The plan will be to refine the mocks with new versions every couple weeks all the way up to start of the draft on Thursday April 28th. Eventually the mocks will become a full two rounds. The new format of the draft this year will put the first round in primetime on Thursday night, followed by the second and third rounds on Friday night, and the fourth through seventh rounds on Saturday.     At an event held in Japan last night Sony unveiled their "Next Generation Portable" follow-up to the PSP. The system will apparently rival the processing power of the PS3, offers dual analog sticks, capacitive touch screen, flash based memory, and online/social connectivity.     With the final season for The Office star Steve Carell heading into its final stretch NBC is pulling out all the stops to make it a true event. Will Ferrell, who co-starred with Carell in Anchorman, has signed on for a four episode arc.     Yesterday the first look at the reboot of the 80's cartoon series Thundercats leaked out and now an official image has been released. This one features the same foursome of Tygra, Lion-O, Cheetara, and Panthro. The show will be premiering on the Cartoon Network later this year.
