Spider-Man Reboot Gets Official Title
Sony has announced that the upcoming reboot of Spider-Man will go by the official title of The Amazing Spider-Man. They have also released a new promo shot of Andrew Garfield in the full costume including the mask for the first time. Miramax today announced Don't Be Afraid of the Dark will release nationwide on August 12th. The horror film was originally slated to hit theaters early this year but was put on hold during the process of Disney selling off the Miramax division. Don't Be Afraid of the Dark was unveiled back at Comic-Con with a teaser trailer as Guillermo Del Toro introduced the project he wrote and oversaw. AMC Expands Premiere of The Killing
The series premiere of the new AMC original series The Killing, originally planned for a single hour, will now be two hours long and start earlier in the evening. The Killing is a crime thriller that takes on a murder investigation as seen through three different points of view and is based on the popular Danish series Forbrydelsen. It was a tight race for the top spot at the box office this weekend as the Adam Sandler led Just Go With It faced off against the Justin Bieber biopic Never Say Never.
