The upcoming Fox sci-fi series Terra Nova has moved its premiere date from May until fall. The network had originally planed to air a two hour premiere spread over two nights in May and then officially roll out the series in the fall premiere season. That is the same strategy they used to launch Glee. The special effects heavy Terra Nova however apparently needs more time to complete and won't be ready to air any episodes until fall. “TERRA NOVA is one of the most ambitious television...

The alien invasion film Battle: Los Angeles topped the box office with a strong performance while the other two openers were big disappointments. Red Riding Hood came in well under expectations while Mars Needs Moms has become a rare bomb for Disney. The reported $70 million budget for Battle: Los Angeles is hard to believe because of the special effects and marketing push, but regardless the $36 million opening for the film represents a great start on its way to profitability. Not sig...

Continue on to check out where the game succeeded and where it misstepped in this "Hits and Misses" review.  (more…)...

Danny McBride, who plays the lead character Kenny Powers on the HBO comedy Eastbound & Down, has stated that the upcoming third season of the series will be its last. The season is being written now with filming to occur over the summer and premiere expected late this year or early 2012. It will almost certainly revolve around the coming parenthood for Kenny and April. This is probably good news given that the show just didn't work as well in its second season and the characters quick...

Football games have been forced to go without officially having Soldier Field as the home of the Chicago Bears. In the case of Madden it has instead been referred to as "Chicago Stadium" while NFL 2K5 called it "Chicago Field". This has all been due to a licensing issue as the stadium is owned by the Chicago Park District. They have remained unresponsive over the years despite being consistently approached for the license to use Soldier Field in games. Though the resemblance to Soldier...
