    Though it has been rumored for years, the logistics and continuity of a Justice League movie has prevented it from reaching the active development stage. It came close to happening in 2008 but also hit the writers strike and eventually was shelved.     ESPN has dropped some info on the current status of some second round matchups for the Madden 12 cover just over a day into the full week of voting. The only one of those mentioned that could really be considered a surprise is Patrick Willis holding a healthy 61/39 lead over Hines Ward.     Fox has released the first trailer for the upcoming adaptation of the children's book Mr. Popper's Penguins. The film stars Jim Carrey and is directed by Mark Waters (Freaky Friday, Mean Girls).     In addition to the console release of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 this week EA Mobile has delivered the mobile version of the game. It is available now for the iPhone and iPod touch for $6.99 and iPad for $9.99. Several licensed golfers as well as create-a-golfer mode are featured. Rounds can be played through quick match, PGA Tour mode, and Wi-Fi or Bluetooth multiplayer.     The patch for Fight Night Champion has arrived a day early for the 360 and PS3. Still scheduled for Tuesday is the release of the downloadable content and a gameplay tuner update.
