  • Fight Night Champion Nearing Second Patch

    Work is being completed on a comprehensive second patch for Fight Night Champion with the expectation that it will be released in mid-June. The patch will return general stamina levels to values in line with what shipped with the game originally - citing complaints that stamina was affecting the fights too drastically - and will bring back one punch knockouts.     EA Sports has released the full fact sheet for Madden 12 that lays out the features for the game. There isn't much new here that hasn't already been detailed with the exception being "Online Communities" which won't be discussed until a later date.   • Leaked Video Shows FIFA 12 Improvements

    EA Sports recently held a webcast with a select group to detail some of the new features in FIFA 12 and a video has leaked of that presentation. The improvements known so far for the game are related to the engine and being technical in nature that makes such a demonstration much more effective in getting across the significance to the gameplay experience.     A viral campaign for The Dark Knight Rises has led to the reveal of the first image featuring the Bane as played by Tom Hardy. The character is physically imposing (obvious in the picture) and intelligent and best known for breaking Batman's back in the comics.     EA Sports has released a new video showcasing an entire pre-game sequence in NCAA Football 12. The complete opening to Oklahoma State @ Oklahoma is on display including OU's authentic team entrance. The presentation enhancements continue to be impressive for NCAA but there is something flat about the entire thing.     In what represents a huge showing of confidence Paramount is moving up the release of Transformers: Dark of the Moon to June 29th from its original July 1st date. Deadline reports positive reaction to screenings has prompted the studio to shift the release to Wednesday.
