Fans of Sony's Uncharted video game series were thrilled to learn in late May that director David O. Russell was leaving his position writing and directing the film adaptation. His vision for Uncharted: Drakes Fortune didn't sound remotely anything like the game and instead seemed to be ripping off themes from National Treasure. Even the casting decisions (Mark Wahlberg as Nathan Drake, Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci) were widely criticized. When Russell departed the project everything about it r...

For anyone considering a purchase of the Madden NFL 12 "Hall of Fame" Limited Collector's Edition don't jump at the product solely because it is being marketed as something special. It's important to take a look at the total package and determine its true worth especially considering the difference in price between that and the regular version is substantial. For $90 the "Hall of Fame" edition includes the game, an autographed Marshall Faulk card, an exclusive pack of Madden Ultimate Team ca...

As I continue to put time in with MLB Bobblehead Pros (which released today on XBLA) to form full impressions here are a couple gameplay videos in the meantime. It took me a couple games hitting nearly all grounders before I learned of a power swing, so you'll notice the ground outs are frequent on my end. Featured here are segments of Yankees at White Sox, Brewers at Reds, and a second Brewers at Reds but in the rain. Quick thoughts on the game though - it's very fun and plays largely si...

Three men plot to have their superiors eliminated in the comedy Horrible Bosses. Played with effortless nature by Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, and Charlie Day, the guys are out of their element as they conspire to find a solution to their misery. Unfortunately the film never really seems to nail down the driving forces behind the characters and its accompanying tone despite the laughs. (more…)...

EA Sports has been teasing the development of three new titles but bypassed the chance to make any announcements at E3. That now leads into Electronic Arts' annual 'Summer Showcase' event as the next big opportunity for one or more of those games to be unveiled. The 'Summer Showcase' takes place this coming Thursday and the company has already stated they will be making some big announcements. The event is not EA Sports specific but has been used as a springboard for news on sports games ...
