The first comprehensive post-release patch for Madden NFL 12 is out now for both the Xbox 360 and PS3. The timing of the arrival falls in line with recent years - about six weeks after release of the game. The patch addresses many of the gripes had with Madden 12 including frequent rain for certain teams in Franchise mode, better organization of custom playbooks, a fix to a QB sneak exploit, edited players no longer losing their "roles" in Franchise, and some work has been done on the commen...

When the stated "trilogy" of Michael Bay's ended with Transformers: Dark of the Moon the widespread assumption was that the franchise would continue, or reboot, with someone else directing. When the film topped the previous two and reached over $1.1 billion worldwide in grosses that became inevitable. The surprising thing now though is the latest word has Bay possibly returning to direct the next two entries in the franchise which would be filmed back-to-back in the same manner that other fr...

The demo for the upcoming (due out on October 25th - Amazon is offering $10 promo credit) Kinect Sports: Season Two arrived today on XBL. Kinect Sports launched alongside Kinect for Xbox 360 last November and it was generally well-received but as with most mini-game compilations eventually interest began to wear thin. Still it was well supported with both free and paid additional downloadable content and ultimately provided a good deal of fun. Table tennis in particular was a blast online. ...

Last year The Walking Dead became the highest rated cable show of all-time. The second season season premiere last night shattered those numbers as it bought in 7.3 million viewers for the first showing and 11 million total for the evening when counting the encore. The critical 18-49 demo had a 4.2 rating breaking previous cable records. The premiere drew rave reviews but reaction amongst viewers has been decidedly more mixed. While I enjoyed the episode the pacing was hampered severely b...
