NFL Blitz Cover Goes to Ray Rice
Ray Rice has won the vote to become the cover athlete of EA Sports' NFL Blitz. Though a digitally-distributed game the cover art will be used for display and marketing purposes. Rice beat out Patrick Willis and Roddy White for the honor. Blitz, which still doesn't have a definitive release date, is expected to arrive on XBLA and PSN in early January....
New Poster for The Dark Knight Rises
A brand new poster for The Dark Knight Rises was released today and features the central villain Bane walking away from a broken Batman mask with the tag "The Legend Ends".
A six minute prologue will be playing in front of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol beginning on December 16th in select IMAX theaters representing an opportunity to see the beginning of the film! The Dark Knight Rises is slated to release on July 20th.

First NBA 2K12 Roster Update Could Come This Weekend
With the CBA ratified and the league year having opened earlier today 2K Sports is now free to release roster updates at intervals of their choosing. A few rookies have already signed (Kyrie Irving and a handful of others) and some free agents have landed in their new destinations. 2K has commented that the first update could be released sometime this weekend but it may be better to expect it early next week and anything earlier would then be a bonus.

New Trailer for Battleship
A brand new trailer for the action film Battleship has arrived. Directed by Peter Berg the film stars Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights, the upcoming John Carter) and Alexander Skarsgard (True Blood) with the story focused on a Naval fleet fending off an attack by UFOs. Battleship is slated to release on May 18th.

#10 of 2011: MLB Bobblehead Pros
A sleeper of an arcade-style game tends to sneak its way into the top 10 countdown each year. This time around that game is MLB Bobblehead Pros. As a downloadable title for $10 it arrived on XBLA in early July and was supposedly on the way for the PS3 also but that, for whatever reason, never materialized.
