Though simple they are well designed and have the quick and addictive nature that is critical for success on mobile devices. The segment of arcade-style sports offerings has largely been dying out over the course of this console generation. There has been a resurrection as of late, with EA Sports bringing back NBA Jam and NFL Blitz in particular, but have done so by shifting them to to digital-downloads at discount prices. Concluding the rollout of the rosters for NFL Blitz via ESPN are those for the AFC East and South. For a look at the others: AFC North and West - NFC West and South - NFC North and East. Each team carries seven offensive (QB, RB, 2WR/TE, 3OL) and seven defensive players (3DL, LB, 3DB) along with a kicker and punter. Eighth NBA 2K12 Roster Update Available Now; Several New Uniforms Unlocked
The NBA season is now underway and with that comes a brand new roster update for NBA 2K12. The changes include the removal of Jeff Green who is out for the year, Samuel Dalembert signing with the Rockets, DeShawn Stevenson joining the Nets, Mehmet Okur traded to the Nets, Brook Lopez injured (-10 to rating), and Mickael Pietrus released but not yet with the Celtics. When a yearly sports title concentrates more on enhancing gameplay and the existing features rather than introducing big new ones the typical expectation is that it will at the very least be polished and avoid some of the growing pains that befall early-stage innovation. Grand Slam Tennis 2 Demo Videos
The demo for Grand Slam Tennis 2 may have been pulled from the Xbox Live Marketplace after only a few hours (apparently a miscommunication led to the early release and it'll be back out in mid/late January) but plenty of people were able to grab it when it was available which means a number of videos have been appearing since.
