    Even though Michael Bay had previously stated the trilogy would be it for him as the directing Transformers it will come as a surprise to very few that he'll be taking the reigns on Transformers 4. Bay made the announcement on his website yesterday.     The biggest concern heading into UFC Undisputed 3 was whether THQ would be able to deliver acceptable online performance. The UFC series had struggled mightily online with its first two entries which were hosted by GameSpy, the company transitioned to their own servers with WWE 12 to disastrous results, and now on release day UFC 3 is experiencing a variety of problems as the company feverishly attempts to address them.  (more…)...

    The 22nd and final roster update for Madden NFL 12 arrived earlier today will come this week with the Online Franchise update to follow. The update adjusts ratings for the Giants and Patriots while making rosters and depth charts accurate to the end of the league year for all other teams. Tom Brady, who at one point was close to getting the unprecedented 100 overall rating, instead drops to 98. Rob Gronkowski also drops a point and ends the season rated 97.     The failure of UFC Undisputed 2010 to capitalize on the success of the first entry in the series forced THQ and UFC to reevaluate the viability of their product as a yearly release. The result has been a nearly two year gap that now culminates with the arrival of UFC Undisputed 3.     While 21 Jump Street is based on the popular ’80s TV series it isn’t a straight remake – rather it presents a modern day take on the concept of police officers infiltrating crime rings by going undercover within places like high schools.
