Now into April with the baseball season fully underway many consumers have begun to ask why the first patch for MLB 12: The Show has yet to arrive. It's an understandable question considering the rate at which patches have been delivered for The Show in recent years. SCEA has yet to comment on plans for post-release support and have been careful to avoid even stating that a patch is being worked on. There shouldn't be reason for concern at this stage however. Undoubtedly one is in the pip...

It wasn't completely unexpected that MLB Today Season mode in MLB 2K12 wouldn't be running properly right off the bat. The MLB 2K series has a history of poorly implemented or completely non-functioning features. So there was little surprise when last week MLB Today Season wasn't working when the season opened with the Mariners vs A's series in Japan.  (more…)...

That doesn't even include the spin-off that came with The Scorpion King which h...

Often it takes more than consumer frustration for companies to take note that actions being taking are having an adverse effect on perception and ultimately sales. They may recognize declines but then not attribute it to the right factors. A recent example of that is NBA Live 10 which was a quality effort yet EA Sports attempted to completely reboot the series having completely misjudged the market which led to disastrous results. Sales weren't poor with Live 10 because of the response to th...
