    It has now been a week since MLB 12: The Show released a patch which included a fix to scheduling in Franchise and Road to the Show - but unfortunately at the same time created freezes in many ongoing seasons and careers forcing those affected to start them over from scratch. The patch was not rolled back and no mention of an additional fix has been made though SCEA is reportedly investigating the freeze issues.     The UEFA EURO 2012 expansion pack for FIFA 12 has arrived for the Xbox 360 (queue up the demo or purchase and download here) and PC and will be out for the PS3 when the store updates this afternoon. A patch also has been pushed live however at this time it's unclear if the only function is to prepare the game to receive the DLC or if any enhancements to gameplay or other areas of FIFA 12 accompany it.     EA Sports has posted their schedule for feature reveals relating to Madden NFL 13. Though the descriptions are vague there is quite a bit to glean from them. We do already know that a new announce team of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms are being introduced. A focus that lays heavily on defense has also been discussed.     Warner Bros has announced that the third trailer for The Dark Knight Rises is set to play in front of The Avengers when it opens on May 4. That a trailer for a DC Comics property is attached to a Marvel film actually isn't unprecedented - The Dark Knight had a trailer in front of Iron Man in 2008.     While the reaction to UEFA EURO 2012 releasing as an expansion pack to FIFA 12 was overwhelmingly positive one of the downsides to the method of delivery is that the typical gameplay improvements that normally accompany a standalone release would be absent.
