It was an unprecedented run that Jeremy Lin turned in before a knee injury ended his season prematurely. Not only was his statistical output exceptional particularly considering his lack of experience but he hit some clutch shots along the way and was the sole catalyst for the resurgence of the Knicks. He became a media and fan sensation arguably exceeded in exposure level only by that of Tim Tebow. In Lin's case however most people were rooting for him rather than having the divisive split ...

Over the weekend Owen Good at Kotaku published a piece covering the discovery that numerous fight songs are missing from NCAA Football 13. It was puzzling in that several of those in question were included in the series in previous years and were now gone without explanation - and especially curious that it seemed concentrated in the Texas schools. Baylor University, who's own Robert Griffin III graces the cover of NCAA 13, responded today to the article stating that they had no involveme...

It wasn't long ago that the NCAA Football series was the football product from EA Sports that took risks and innovated. In fact, many perceived NCAA to be the testing ground for Madden, and that had its benefits and share of drawbacks. Madden played it safe to try and placate a significantly larger userbase while NCAA was able to target what college football fans and those passionate about the series wanted. Roles between those two franchises however have reversed in the last couple years...
