    Heading into the holiday 2K Sports announced that a comprehensive patch for NBA 2K13, that will act as the first for the game since it released in early October, has been submitted for certification to Microsoft and Sony. Generally that testing process takes anywhere from 10-14 days unless an issue is discovered that delays its approval.     Here is a look at the listed deals for various retailers on sports games and others that may be of interest. Unless otherwise specified they apply to the 360/PS3 versions.     The roster update for Madden NFL 13 following week 11 of the season released today in advance of the holiday for the Xbox 360 and PS3 but not the Wii U. Because it came out earlier in the week transactions like the Steelers signing Plaxico Burress and IR designations for Willis McGahee, Blaine Gabbert, and Laurent Robinson, along with the appeal that eliminated Ed Reed's one game suspension were not able to be reflected in this update.     There may not be much hope of 2K Sports producing a completely satisfactory roster update for NBA 2K13 but still the tracking of players outperforming or underperforming compared to their ratings should continue to be scrutinized. In the last update 6 players were added bringing the number of missing down to 19.     FIFA 13 on the Nintendo Wii U offers a satisfying overall experience but inherently the unique features of the system are not completely natural to take advantage of during free-flowing gameplay. It looks and runs beautifully with the new hardware but a few features and gameplay enhancements are notable in their absence.
