MLB 13: The Show Diamond Dynasty Mode Improvements
SCEA has released a look at some of the changes coming to Diamond Dynasty mode in MLB 13: The Show. Diamond Dynasty was introduced in MLB 12 as an attempt at creating a team-building/card collecting mode similar in nature to Ultimate Team found in EA Sports titles. Conceptually the mode was sound but there were several poor design decisions and technical issues that made it difficult to enjoy. Check out full impressions of the mode from last year.
In MLB 13 the mode is receiving improveme...
NBA 2K13 Week 12 Roster Update Details
A new roster update for NBA 2K13 arrived this morning and delivers a number of ratings adjustments. Having started to look as though it would be unreachable LeBron James moves up a point to 99 overall. Three decent games were apparently enough to up Earl Clark as what the 17-21 Lakers definitely require are upgrades and not downgrades (Antawn Jamison is still somehow 77). The trend of raising far more players - even though it hasn't been a significant number in each update throughout the sea...

#2 of 2012: NBA 2K13
For quite a while NBA 2K13 was slotted into the top spot as the Pastapadre Sports Game of the Year. NBA 2K was set to be the first series to have won twice since the awards began in 2006 (2K11 won in 2010). It had it in its grasp but ultimately it slipped away when justification of the entire product as the "best" of this year's crop was made more more difficult.
NBA 2K13 arrived on the scene with welcome changes to controls, terrific presentation, an excellent career mode, and much impro...
