    In a case of incredibly unfortunate timing, considering the EA PGA Tour news this morning, at practically the same moment that news broke HB Studios announced that The Golf Club will be getting a retail release on April 28.     EA Sports today announced Rory McIlroy is taking over as the face of the PGA Tour franchise. The series, which dumped Tiger Woods before taking its year off to develop for the new consoles, will now be named Rory McIlory PGA Tour.     Though the individual features may not necessarily be generating excitement fans of the series are clearly anticipating the upcoming MLB 15: The Show. The results of the poll posted last week showed high levels of commitment to purchasing the game with relative few still on the fence.     A third post-release patch for NBA 2K15 released today on PlayStation 4 and PC and is expected to go out on Xbox One in the coming days. The primary purpose of the patch is to address a glitch that has prevented users from applying different shoes to their MyPlayer characters since the last patch in late December.
