Iron Man 3 Officially Announced
The news broke today that Disney has paid for the marketing and distribution rights to two upcoming Marvel films having acquired them from Paramount. One of them is The Avengers and the other is Iron Man 3 which the studio made official in the press release. Iron Man 3 will release on May 3rd 2013. Alternate Opening to Iron Man 2
Remember in the trailer for Iron Man 2 how Pepper Potts kissed the Iron Man helmet and tossed it off the plane for Tony Stark to retrieve on the way to making a grand entrance at the Stark Expo? $52 Million Opening Day for Iron Man 2
Iron Man 2 has made off with an estimated $52 million in its first day. That number includes the $7.5 million made from late Thursday midnight shows. The $52 million places it seventh on the list of highest opening day grosses. Based on these numbers the weekend take will likely finish right around $130 million. That would make it the fifth biggest opening weekend in history. Industry expectations pegged IM2 in the $140-160 million range, giving it an outside shot of topping The Dark Knight...

Yahoo! has posted up an exclusive clip from Iron Man 2. The clip is of an action scene where Tony Stark uses his new 'Iron Man' suit to take on 'Whiplash'. Paramount has released a new interactive Iron Man 2 trailer. Much of the footage is what we have already seen from the previous trailers. New ‘Iron Man 2′ TV Spots
Two new Iron Man 2 T.V. spots have been released courtesy of TheMovieBox.net. Much of what is seen in both spots is footage revealed in previous trailers. We get a glimpse at "Iron Man's" new armor, "Nick Fury", "Black Widow", "War Machine" and "Whiplash". I thought the third spot was better than the second. After getting the first trailer back in mid-December for Iron Man 2 a follow-up has just been released.
