The new year doesn't really offer us any great movies in it's first week. Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation's Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is probably the best movie of the releases this week. The animated movie scored an 85% "Fresh Rating" on Rottentomatoes.com. We will surely see this movie at the top of the sales list. Here is the full release schedule broken up by standard DVD and Blu-ray: (more…)...

I was surprised to see there weren't bigger movie releases for the week of Christmas. The big name this week is Peter Jackson's District 9. If you are a Sci-Fi fan, then this is probably a movie you'd enjoy. If you are a fan of Comedy, Mike Judge's Extract was solid. The film received a "fresh rating" on Rottentomatoes.com and is in the same mold of Office Space. Here is the full release schedule broken up by standard DVD and Blu-ray: (more…)...

Unless you're a fan of Harry Potter, it's a pretty slow week for releases. The big movie hitting stores this week is Public Enemies. The film features a solid cast with Johnny Depp and Christian Bale headlining the film. Here is the full release schedule broken up by standard DVD and Blu-ray: (more…)...

After a very slow week of releases, this week is a little better. Ben Stiller's Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian will hit stores this week. Coincidentally, the sequel scored the same on Rottentomatoes.com as the original. Terminator Salvation will also be releasing this week. The latest installment of The Terminator film franchise wasn't well received, but is definitely something any 'action film' fan will would enjoy. Here is the full release schedule broken up by standard D...

This week is a very poor week for DVD releases. After a few pretty good weeks, there isn't much worth mentioning. As a fan of The Sopranos, I'm looking forward to the release of season 1 on Blu-ray. Tom Hanks' Angels & Demons also hits stores this week. Unfortunately, just like The Da Vinci Code, this movie wasn't much better. Here is the full release schedule broken up by standard DVD and Blu-ray: (more…)...

There are a handful of good movies hitting stores this week. Christmas has come early for Trekkies with the release of Star Trek. J.J. Abrams rendition of the Sci-Fi classic was well received and scored high in reviews. Fans of Sacha Baron Cohen can look forward to Bruno releasing this week. But the movie I'm most looking forward to is the Blu-ray release of Fight Club. It's hard to believe it's already been ten years since the movie first released in theaters. There are some movies that sho...
