Amazon is now offering UFC Undisputed 3 for $40 representing one of the better deals in recent weeks. The game was a solid effort - considerably better than that of the previous iteration in the series - though marred by an unreliable online play experience. It has yet to receive a patch but a substantial one is reportedly still in the works. (360 - PS3). Other ongoing deals at the online retailer include SSX for $40 (the DLC that released today could make that of more interest), Tiger...

Several titles released within the last couple months are seeing deals right now on Amazon. It's likely that these are limited in supply so consider grabbing any of interest soon if the price meets what you're looking for. •Tiger Woods 13 for $40: 360 - PS3 This matches the lowest level so far for the standard version of Tiger Woods 13. •FIFA Street for $40: 360 This matches the lowest level but the PS3 version had spent more time at $40. •SSX for $40: 360 - PS3 Was availab...

With the rate at which recent releases have seen their prices drop - some within a matter of days after hitting stores - MLB 12: The Show has bucked the trend by staying put at its $60 price until today. Amazon is now selling the PS3 version of the game for $50 while the Vita is still at its original $40. Also it's worth noting that the deal where buying one gets a discount of $20 on the other remains only in effect until tomorrow April 10th. While sales for The Show have apparently falle...
  • SSX Price Keeps Plummeting

SSX has barely been out a month and it's already been halved in price. Amazon (Xbox 360 - PS3) and Best Buy have already dropped the game to $30. It's a fantastic deal for a very good game but does not bode well for the future of the series. SSX has undoubtedly failed to gain traction at retail and follows in what has become a long line of arcade-style titles that have struggled to justify their development this generation. It's hard to imagine a scenario in which a sequel comes about no...

Almost all of the sports titles to come out so far this year - UFC Undisputed 3, SSX, Grand Slam Tennis 2, and MLB 2K12 - have found themselves being offered at a discounted price at various retailers just weeks, and sometimes only days, after they released. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 hit stores last week and already Amazon, Best Buy, and Gamestop have dropped the price on the standard versions as well as the Collector's Editions. Amazon has both standard versions (360 - PS3) for $50 and the...
  • Big Sale on Three Recent EA Sports Releases: SSX, FIFA Street, and Grand Slam Tennis 2
    by
    Posted March 19th, 2012 at 8:45 am 12 Comments »
In the last month EA Sports relaunched three franchises to mixed results. Those three have now received significant price reductions with SSX and FIFA Street falling to $40 and Grand Slam Tennis 2 down to $30 at Amazon making them much more appealing as potential purchases. SSX (Xbox 360 - PS3) has generally been well received since launching at the end of February. Amazon did originally offer a $10 promo credit with pre-orders so this amounts to an extra $10 shaved off from then. FIFA...
  • Deal on UFC Undisputed 3 for 360

For those who may have held off on buying UFC Undisputed 3 but have some level of interest in the game a deal now at Amazon could be a tempting one. Not even two weeks after release and UFC 3 is going for $39.54 just for the Xbox 360 version - the PS3 one hasn't been discounted. This represents essentially $10 lower than the best opportunity at savings earlier when Amazon had offered a $10 promotional credit with pre-orders. At this level the game could be bought and even paired with the ...
  • Amazon Offering Promo Credit on MLB 2K12 and Combo Pack with NBA 2K12

It has been notable that neither publisher of the baseball titles this year are offering any sort of pre-order incentive. Stepping in then to do so on the retailer end is Amazon who today added a $10 promotional credit for MLB 2K12 along with release day delivery which is free for Prime subscribers and just for 99 cents otherwise. Not only will standard copies of MLB 2K12 (360 - PS3) get the promo credit but so will the recently announced combo pack (360 only) with NBA 2K12. That will mak...
