Review: Alice in Wonderland
Tim Burton has always been very hit or miss with me. Big Fish is one of my favorite movies and he has delivered classics like Edward Scissorhands and Beetle Juice, while many of his other films I have really disliked. His visual style and quirky, dark natured story telling works sometimes and others it doesn't. For Alice in Wonderland he created a dull world that was not able to capture any of the magic that has come with different tellings of the story over the years.

AMC May Boycott Alice in Wonderland
A fascinating story has been brewing over the last couple weeks as Disney attempts to push forward with a plan to shorten the theatrical runs of its films. Generally movies are available to theaters for 17 weeks before they can move to DVD. Disney however is trying to change that to just 12 weeks with the first being Alice in Wonderland which is slated to open on March 5th.

First Official Mad Hatter Photo
Last month we got to see a new trailer from Walt Disney Pictures' Alice in Wonderland. Today, the studio has released a photo of Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter as the first 'official' still . New ‘Alice in Wonderland’ Trailer
Yahoo! has posted a theatrical trailer for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. Johnny Depp and Burton team up again to bring us what looks to be a very fun and visually fascinating film.
From the trailer it doesn't seem as if the film will be a direct adaption of the cartoon. The character of Alice seems to be a bit older and seems as if she's returning to Wonderland. Perhaps this is supposed to be a sequel? This is a movie I would definitely like to see in 3D at the IMAX. Alice in Wonder...
