Last year in NBA 2K17 the pool of contributing voices during and around the games expanded to 11. The booth consisted of Kevin Harlan and a group of rotating analysts that included Chris Webber, Steve Smith, Doris Burke, Brent Barry, Greg Anthony, and Clark Kellogg. Sideline reporting was handled by David Aldridge and the Inside the NBA crew Ernie Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kenny Smith held down the studio show.
For NBA 2K18 two more former players will be found in the booth, as Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett join as special guest commentators.

The sports-gaming season is now underway with the release of Madden NFL 18, and following the initial impressions show last week we’re back with a panel to break down many aspects of the game in a supersized two hour episode!
Longshot story mode, Franchise mode, gameplay, MUT Squads, and more are covered in-depth, with the discussion later ending on some thoughts regarding the way the Madden and sports titles in general are poorly covered by gaming media and the way marketing strategies are being shifted towards “influencers” over websites.

Four stadiums will make their debut in FIFA 18, taking the number in the game to 50 licensed out of 79 total. The new ones are the LA Galaxy’s StubHub Center (also featured in Madden NFL 18), Atletico Madrid’s new home Wanda Metropolitano, and those for promoted Premier Club teams Huddersfield Town (Kirklees Stadium) and Brighton (Amex Stadium). Read more
Besides the 17 new classic teams that have now been fully revealed, NBA 2K18 will also be introducing all-time teams populated by the best players from the history of the current 30 franchises. While it appears the likes of Charles Barkley and Reggie Miller will be missing from their respective teams, a majority of the most notable players for every franchise should be expected. A new trailer today showcases the addition of the all-time teams for NBA 2K18.
The full rosters have also now been revealed, and along with the notable omissions, Seattle fans will be upset to learn the Thunder’s all-time team is made up of mostly Sonics players.
The gradual rollout of the 16 new classic teams for NBA 2K18 is now complete, and unfortunately it appears that the two players most fans had hoped for – particularly given the announcement of All-Time teams for each franchise – remain as holdouts. Charles Barkley and Reggie Miller have been absent besides their involvement through the Dream Team in past editions and as a commentator respectively. Barkley has publicly stated he’s asked for a donation of a million dollars to the Retired Player’s Union for his rights but 2K has apparently balked at that request.
Continue on to check out the full list summarizing accomplishments and the big name players from each roster. 2K is also teasing a bonus 17th team, and given the timing of the Kyrie Irving trade to the Celtics (he’ll remain in the Cavs jersey on the cover) it wouldn’t be surprising if that turned out to be Cleveland’s 2015-16 championship squad. Update: The extra team is the 2006-07 Golden State Warriors. Read more
