    The Tiger Woods PGA Tour series has been solid if unspectacular this generation carrying with it somewhat limited appeal. Hampered by a heavy reliance on downloadable content the justification to purchase yearly has waned considerably.

    That won’t necessarily change with Tiger Woods 14. People who play yearly may not find as much value as novices. However for those who have skipped recent versions or who would be new to the series it can be easily recommended.Ā  Read more

    A new roster update for NBA 2K13 arrived today on the Xbox 360 and PS3. The only notable changes relate to players who have returned from injury or recently been afflicted by it. Tony Parker and Pau Gasol are the biggest names to go active. There are no ratings changes in the update even for streaking teams like the Heat or Nuggets, Thomas Robinson still has the wrong jersey number on the Rockets, and the coaching change for the Suns that took place now over two months ago still hasn’t been made.

    The results from the first round of the Madden NFL 25 cover competition that came in a few days ago will help to provide some insight on where the voting base is trending and the chances for each entrant going forward. There were no real shockers in the round involving active players though a few lower seeds moved on in tight races.   • Tiger Woods 14 Now Available to Download Through Season Ticket

    Subscribers to the EA Sports Season Ticket program can now access the complete early releaseĀ digital downloadĀ of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14Ā on the Xbox 360 and PS3. The download size is 5.71 GB for the 360.

    The digital copy of Tiger Woods 14 will expire early Tuesday at 6am ET after which a retail copy will have to be purchased to continue playing. All gameĀ savesĀ and achievements will transfer over.

    The ā€˜Season Ticket’ costs $25 and runs for a period of one year – providing over three days of early access and a 20% DLCĀ discountĀ for Madden NFL, NHL, FIFA, Tiger Woods PGA Tour, and NCAA Football. For Tiger there is also a bonus provided of 24Ā PGA TOUR Pin Packs and an Exclusive Golf Club Set.

    The latest edition of the Press Row Podcast features discussion on the resignation of Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello, thoughts on Tiger Woods 14 as release approaches, evaluation of the Madden NFL 25 cover tournament, responses to some listener questions, and the panelist picks for the Final Four.     The results from the first round of the Madden NFL 25 cover competition that came in yesterday will help to provide some insight on where the voting base in trending and the chances for each entrant going forward. Interestingly all of the 10 seeds in the running through both brackets advanced but are facing almost sure elimination as they go up against the 2 seeds. While a few upsets took place early in the competition any significant ones now seem unlikely to occur.
